NairaBridge FX is an AI agent on Celo that helps people paid in dollars move between USDT and cNGN, the regulated naira stablecoin, at the best available rate. Prices come from Textile FX, a market where professional market makers compete to fill each trade at a firm price.

• It watches the market every 3 minutes and publishes the real rate, fee included, on a public board.
• From Telegram you can check rates, convert, and set rate alerts.
• It is non-custodial: you always sign in your own wallet. The agent never holds your keys or your money.

Supported pairs#

USDT → cNGN (cash out) and cNGN → USDT (top up), on Celo mainnet.

1. Open @NairaBridgeFX_bot ↗ on Telegram and press Start.
2. Tap the link the bot sends and connect your wallet. Sign a message to prove the wallet is yours. No funds move and no transaction is sent.
3. Type /rate to see today’s rate, or /convert 50 usdt to cash out.

Supported wallets#

• MiniPay and other in-app wallet browsers, including OKX and MetaMask’s mobile browser.
• Any WalletConnect wallet: Valora, Trust, MetaMask, Rainbow and others.

Quick quotes#

Groups#

You can add the bot to a group chat. In groups, only /rate works, so anyone can check the rate. Conversions and alerts happen privately; the bot replies with a button to continue in a private chat.

1. /convert gives you a private link valid for 15 minutes.
2. Approve exactly the amount you are converting. NairaBridge never asks for an unlimited allowance.
3. Get a firm quote bound to your wallet: the exact amount you receive, the rate with fee included, the fee, and a live countdown until expiry.
4. Confirm, then sign the swap in your own wallet.
5. The agent checks the swap on-chain and sends a Telegram receipt with a Celoscan link.

Firm quotes#

Taker Control#

• Set a target with /alert. After every market check, the agent re-quotes and messages you once when your target is met.
• The message includes a one-tap “Convert now” link and a “Set again” button.
• Up to 5 active alerts per person; each expires after 7 days.

Reading the board#

• Headline rate: naira per $1, fee included.
• Rates by size: $5, $10, $25, $50, $200 and $1,000, in both directions.
• Depth: the largest amount that can be filled right now.
• History: 24h and 7d charts.
• References: comparison with reference rates.
• The Ledger: public stats and P&L.

Direction and P&L#

When cashing out, a higher rate is better. When topping up, a lower rate is better.

P&L measures how much naira users gained compared with benchmarks taken at the moment of each trade. It is broken down by strategy: single for a normal conversion, and alert for a conversion after an alert fired, measuring the value of waiting.

Honest volumes#

Firm quotes requested for real users are counted separately from monitoring previews. Monitoring previews are never presented as trading volume.

• Textile’s protocol fee is 0.01% (1 basis point), already included in every rate shown.
• NairaBridge adds no extra fee.
• MiniPay pays network fees in stablecoins. Other wallets need a little CELO for gas.
• There is no gas sponsorship; you pay your own network fee.

• Non-custodial: no keys, deposits or escrow. Every transaction is signed by you.
• Exact approvals only, checked against your balance first.
• Every quote is checked against Textile’s official contract addresses before you see it.
• The public board shows no usernames or wallet addresses.

No. You never trade with a stranger, send money first, or wait for someone to release funds.

Your swap settles in one on-chain transaction against Textile’s smart contract, at a price fixed before you sign. Either it completes exactly as quoted or nothing happens.
